The pieces in this collection from April 2023 play on our superimposed notions of separation by crossbreeding garment stereotypes, prompting questions about perceived conventional boundaries.
Denim design is an ideal canvas for this concept because it has its own accepted visual code of communication that can be disrupted and yet remain grounded and cool. As a designer I have always questioned boundaries in my work but unifying ideas seems particularly relevant now.
There are also reworked/recycled looks within this range, which while not necessary within digital fashion, are important as we push the IRL industry to pivot its environmental strategy towards sustainability.
