Virtual fashion is everywhere yet nowhere, real yet unreal. Inspired by the ground breaking potential of this digital medium, Apocryphal Studio was founded to create both conceptual and commercial collections for use within the metaverse through the brands, POPULNT and APOCRYPHAL.
Virtual collections are crafted using 3D pattern cutting software in the same way real garments are constructed but employing digital tools to create the collection pieces.
The Studio is based in the south of England and was created by Noo Holder, an established senior IRL multi-product fashion designer with additional expertise in denim and outerwear, who also designs physical casual and denim ranges for brands and retailers as a consultant.
Since it was founded Apocryphal Studio has been approached by the London College of Fashion to take interns, one of whom now has her own range on Dressx. The brand has also been invited to show at Helsinki Fashion Week and can be found within 'Featured Designers' on Dressx.
